DETAILS

The State of Nature is a short documentary film that follows a team of academics as they analyse the efforts of the Scottish Police Force to take a “Human Rights approach” to policing the COP26 in Glasgow in 2021. With intimate access to the Scottish Police Force, their mutual aid colleagues and the protest groups they sought to contain, the resulting film asks some compelling questions of whether the approaches employed are compatible with respecting the human rights of the protestors and general public.
